Welcome to the Parmly Hearing Institute of Loyola
University Chicago. Parmly is a basic science research institute of the Graduate
School of Loyola University Chicago engaged in the comparative study of sensory systems
including hearing, vision, speech perception, vestibular function, and the special senses
of the lateral-line organ and electroreception in fish. The Parmly Hearing Institute is
also the academic administrator of the Undergraduate Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Minor.
